At Chattahoochee Technical College, we deliver instruction to our students through various methods, including online, hybrid, and web-enhanced courses. Except for one proctored event to be completed at an assigned date and time in person, online courses deliver all other instruction and content off campus. Hybrid classes have weekly meeting times but are generally conducted online. Our traditional classes are considered “web-enhanced,” being held in person at set times but with supplemental content and instruction available online.
No matter what type of course you take, you should always be prepared to complete assignments on time. In order to succeed at an online course, you must also be self-motivated and able to work independently. It will be up to you to reach out to professors and classmates, and you must be able to communicate clearly in writing over email or online forums. Online learning takes time, and you need self-discipline to dedicate yourself to your education. Since you won’t have standard class periods, you may benefit from setting aside time each day exclusively for coursework and sticking to this schedule.
