Between continuing your education and searching for a career, you may feel some stress from time to time. Stress is a completely normal, natural response, but it can get out of control. Watch this helpful video for a look at what causes stress and how to handle it.
Stress is a survival mechanism designed to quickly get you out of a dangerous situation. This emergency physical state is only meant to last for a brief period, but in today’s world, everyone stresses about everyday things all the time. When stressed, you are less able to think clearly, learn, and remember things. Try to take deep breaths, get plenty of exercise, make a plan of action, or socialize when you feel stressed. These activities can counteract the effects of stress and help you regain control.
